My name is Jakob Ernst and I am co-owner and president of Information Design – a business print and promo distributor in Anchorage Alaska. We are a second-generation family business and have been in operation for over 30 years. We are/were members of BrandChain and PSDA before that. One of the greatest tools that those organizations had were the ability to connect trade-printers and distributors, specifically through their sources email and online communities. I just had a great meeting with the Senior Vice President of Printing United – Joshua Carruth – and he shared that this is this Distributor Network Community is the best place for trade-printers and distributors to connect on projects and when searching for specific products and services.
