    Hi Jim,

    I had a discussion with Roger on this not too long ago. There was an earlier post by Jakob Ernst on this last Fall. So, I recommended he take a look at your post. 

    It seems there is no reason more couldn't join and participate in this forum. The membership levels start at very reasonable costs making it accessible for all distributors and based on the needs of Printing United Alliance services for distributors.

    I wanted to jump in to this discussion primarily to see if responding to an email goes to the entire community like the old PSDA emails did.  This was the best feature of that forum, and its removal basically killed that organization.   I am hopeful this forum can grow to that level of interactive success.

    Hi Chris,

     

    Just wanted to chime in on your question. As a general rule our Alliance staff will do our best to stay out of the way of these conversations so there is no influence from our team and it is truly a peer to peer conversation. That said, I wanted to speak up here to clarify and hopefully answer your question.

     

    When you reply to a thread inside the system members will be notified based on the selection they made when joining the community by way of a "Digest" either Immediately, Daily, Weekly, etc.

     

    For example, I received this notification via a digest and by choosing "reply to group" it opened up this email reply to everyone in the community.
